Like say if you go back in time 10 times, you forget what you did in the 10th time.

Even if you try to hold onto all the details and go back in time to find every detail, you'll lose the oldest one, like grains of sand slipping through your hand.

actually no... she loses the memory of the earliest time... i.e. if she goes back ten times she looses the memory of what happened the 1st time... thats why she is forgetting what happened during time in japan...
